Time for democracy in the House of Lords
Helen spoke yesterday in the Commons debate on reform of the House of Lords. You can read the speech here. Helen supports indirect elections to the Lords, but she has decided to vote for a predominantly elected House to establish democratic accountability and greater representativeness in the upper chamber.
