Since becoming an MP in 2005, Helen has made a number of speeches and written articles on local, national international issues.
From her maiden speech to her appointment as a Government Whip in October 2008, Helen spoke regularly in the House of Commons and as Deputy Leader of the House, she responded for the Government in various debates.
Outside the Commons chamber, Helen has also addressed audiences on such diverse issues as global poverty and increasing women’s involvement in UK politics, and you can read a selection of Helen’s speeches here
