Helen Goodman

Helen will be holding monthly surgeries in 2009 at a number of venues across the constituency.

Surgeries allow constituents to raise concerns with Helen in person. No appointment is necessary – you can just turn up.

You may find it useful to read about what an MP can do before approaching Helen. If you are unable to come to a surgery you can still contact Helen by post, phone or email, and it may be advantageous to write to Helen prior to attending a surgery.

Surgery’s usually take place on the first friday of every month, and start at 5pm. The dates for 2009 are:

● Friday 9 January: Witham Hall, Barnard Castle

● Friday 6 February: Constituency Office, 1 Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6EN

● Friday 6 March, Community Centre, St. David’s Close, Tudhoe, Spennymoor

● Friday 3 April, People’ Centre, Main Street, Shildon

● Friday 8 May, Community Centre, Montieth Close, West Auckland

● Friday 5 June, Constituency Office, 1 Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6EN

Helen will also be holding regular ’street surgeries’ across the constituency, which provide a further opportunity for constituents to discuss any issue of concern.
