Helen Goodman MP attended the NFU rally held today in protest at imposed cuts of up to 2p on a litre of milk that could wipe £50,000 off the average farm income. She said:

‘I am extremely concerned about this situation. It is not fair for supermarkets to treat farmers this way. I would urge the Government to take action to stop the large supermarkets from pushing farmers around’
