BUILDING BISHOP’S ECONOMY
A wide-range of local business leaders, trade unionists, academics and others gathered at Bishop Auckland College today to develop strategies for local economic development. The conference was organised by Helen to consider how we can best develop manufacturing within the constituency. The keynote speech was given by Ed Balls, MP for Normanton and former Chief Economic Adviser at the Treasury (see picture).
