Helen has been appointed a Shadow Minister at the Ministry of Justice with responsibility for prisons, probation, sentencing policy and youth justice.

Helen will form part of the Shadow Justice team headed by Sadiq Khan MP.

Helen was previously a Minister and then Shadow Minister at the Department of Work and Pensions with responsibility for child poverty and childcare.
