    January 2010:

• Opening of new Toy Library at Deerbolt YOI, Barnard Castle
• Signed Charter and gave speech at launch of County Durham Local Government Charter, County Hall.
• Visit to Land Registry Offices, Spennymoor
• Steet Surgery, West Auckland

    December 2009

• Ministerial Visit to Seaham Family Centre

• Meeting at County Hall, Durham, with people who are finding work through the £1 billion Future Jobs Fund.
