BISHOP AUCKLAND TOWN CENTRE STORE SAVED
Helen has warmly welcomed the saving of the Co-op in Bishop Auckland town centre from closure. The site has been sold to the Anglia-Regional Co-operative society and all 32 jobs will remain.
Helen said, “The Co-op site, in Newgate Street, is at the heart of the retail centre and the fact that all the jobs have been saved or transferred is excellent news.”
